Just picked up a '14 528Xdrive last night.
I'm 31 and very surprised to see many of us are at 2x~3x. I had a E350 when I was 27 and I got rid of it in a year because I felt I was too young for it. The 5 series gives different vibe, in a good way, though.

31. Should have bought a BMW a long time ago. Wasted my time with other "luxury" cars and this car is just perfect for me. I worked for BMW in college as a service valet and then parts runner and always said I would own one. Glad it finally happened!

First Post! Just got my 3rd BMW, a 2014 F10 which was finally delivered last Saturday. Previously leased a E90 & E92. I'm 34 and truly enjoy the luxurious drive, smooth easy steering and calm handling of the F10 (reminisces of my 1987 Toyota Cressida during my college years). Love that i can drive like a normal human w/o having the need to speed or overtake anyone like i did in the E9x cars. Anxiety is much less in the F10 vs the E9x. Mo

32 just and my upcoming F11 530d xDrive M-sport (535 in the US) will be my 4th BMW. I don't think I've ever seen a person under 30 drive a F10/F11 in Sweden. If I didn't have kids I would have gotten the M4 instead...

55.
The 2013 F10 I am considering will by my 6th BMW. If I can get 2 car seats in the back with enough leg room for the kids, the car will be in my garage within a week or so. When I was in my 20's, I was more interested in sport handling, so the 3 series were the bulk of my purchases. That has given way to more practical considerations. |

My first BMW I bought last year was a 335d E91. But it's too small for what it is, so going for an F11 530d this time round. I have had many Audi's, and to a lesser extent VW's, in the past, so I'm not exactly new to the more upmarket motors (i.e. not Kias and Fords). Although it has only been the last 5 years or so that I've been going with newer motors. |
