Non-M Sport Diffuser Painting
Has anyone had a bodyshop paint the rear diffuser a different color? I like the rear tips on the 550i and diffuser, I would just prefer it being a different color - like my M-tech diffuser on the E60.
My front bumper is at the shop so I figured this may be a nice change to do while the car is there... |

I think the lighter color cars had the black contrasting diffuser? Mine was Carbon Metallic, so it was body matched.
I think if you have a lighter one, it may be worth exploring. Ask for a photoshop request or Google search for what you're seeking. |

My car is Havana Metallic. I've been trying to find F10s with the same color but couldn't find too much related to this topic.
I think either black or grey would look the best to give the rear a little bit more character. I am usually all against chrome and have always blacked out my kidney grills, but I think it flows really well with this color so I will not be blacking out my kidney grills this time. Funny, the closest two pictures I could find are below |

I believe the OP was referring to non M-sport so the bumpers/diffusers throughout all the model lines are the same color and 1-piece. Another member used plastidip but you can kind of see how the black bottom looks like. You can also go with a CF or PU Hamann style diffuser which just goes over your existing diffuser. Just some options.

^^^ Yes, thank you. That's what I was looking for. I'm trying to match a good color that would flow nicely with the Havana Metallic. Something like this I think would look nice to change the rear up a little bit.

Sorry, by lip spoiler I meant the trunk spoiler. The M-Sport bumper is currently at the bodyshop and should hopefully be installed next week.
