F10 Headunit to Amp Wiring Description
Hi, I have JBL MS-8 installed with technic harness and for highs and kicker CX300.1 for subs. Couple of days ago subs stopped working even though the both amps are on. I checked the fuse no issues. Only thing I could narrow down to was if I increase the gain on kicker to 80% (where it used to be on 40%) and indash base to 90% I would get sub working again but on higher volume then before.
Only thing I could think of is either ms8 channel 6-7 output is giving extremely low signal suddenly or kicker cx300 input signal has gone bad. I wanted to see if I could tap directly into the sub output wires coming from head-unit bypassing the ms8 and see if that makes a difference. Let me know any help would be appreciated as I can't figure out which wire to tap into need some help with description. 2013 535i Hifi Thx

Figured out the issue. Ms8 channel 6-7 rca output wasn't giving enough signal. Tapped into wires from technic out put harness for sub everything good now. Much stronger signal.
