TPMS and FTMS (RPA/RDC) coding issue
Hello, everyone!
I'm having in issue coding 2011 bmw 535i Goal: Code out TPMS(RDC) due to new wheels not having sensors in them and replace with FTMS(RPA) What I've done so far: - removed fuse 139 Coded in e-sys: <<< CAFD_00000069.caf.009_001_004 (KOMBI L6 BO) >>> KOMBI L6 BO > ERM_Konfiguration 3004 > ST_TYR_RDC_ALIVE nicht_aktiv KOMBI L6 BO > ERM_Konfiguration 3004 > ST_TYR_RDC_TIMEOUT nicht_aktiv KOMBI L6 BO > FZG_Ausstattung 3003 > DSC_MIT_RPA mit_rpa <<< CAFD_00000052.caf.007_010_000 (ICMQL) >>> ICMQL > Daten 3000 > IcmKod_B_SA2VB nicht_verbaut <<< CAFD_000000F9.caf.007_003_022 (HU_CICHB) >>> HU_CICHB > EXBOX 3001 > RDC nicht_aktiv HU_CICHB > EXBOX 3001 > RDC_SAFETY nicht_aktiv HU_CICHB > EXBOX 3001 > RPA_CIC activ Result: no more tpms error on the dash, however when I go into Vehicle status to check tire status - the wheels never turn green. I've tried resetting tire pressure, but nothing comes up. It feels like TPMS is turned off, but FTMS(RPA) isn't fully turned on yet. Any ideas? |

I did this same exact thing today. I discovered that removing fuse number 139 actually triggers a check engine light due to the fact that this fuse feeds RDC and a pressure tank sensor of some sort, therefore if you take it off there will be a check engine light.
So the best way was to leave the fuse in but I disconnected the actual RDC module which was inside my trunk (2011 535i) What I coded was: KOMBI L6 BO > ERM_Konfiguration 3004 > ST_TYR_RDC_ALIVE nicht_aktiv KOMBI L6 BO > ERM_Konfiguration 3004 > ST_TYR_RDC_TIMEOUT nicht_aktiv HU_CICHB > EXBOX 3001 > RDC nicht_aktiv HU_CICHB > EXBOX 3001 > RDC_SAFETY nicht_aktiv HU_CICHB > EXBOX 3001 > RPA_CIC activ I have yet to drive the car, but I did notice that under vehicle setting I'm unable to reset the FTM. its Greyed out. Is yours also greyed out? rooert |
