retrofit on a lci

so i was wonder if i can retro fit a pre-lci msport wheel on my lci, is it plug and play or would i need to code/use different parts in order to use it? i got a 2016 535 luxury line with the 8 speed fyi

I think all steering wheels within the F10 series are compatible with each other, i.e. plug and play.
If the next steering wheel has paddle shifters and you want them to work, you need to add the equipment, for example with E-SYS.
