GoPRO App, integration into BMW Sat Nav

By watching this video, it looks like there is a GoPRO App to be added into the BMW Professional Sat Nav:

Does any one know how does it work?

On my m235i its pretty straightforward -- open the GoPro iOS/Android app, plug into the car with USB, and then you can change the camera mode (some specialized "sport driving" modes, etc), as well as start/stop recording from iDrive.

I didn't see any way to get a live video feed though...
