Hi guys,
I am new here (and HK based), I am considering having a F10 but after reading this post I am hesitating what is this jerking issue? Still on going? |

If you are hesitating already, may be an issue.. you don't even have the car yet
It depends on luck if you get it or not, it appears to be a 'real' issue in that it is clearly observable - due to the incoherent working together of the multitude of electro-mechanical parts; although for some it may be an 'imagined' issue () where 'incorrect' driver input creates a neck-jerking feedback loop. |

jerking issue has always been on most BMW not just the F10 so it is very common, I would think after 1 year they will have fix this. It was the same for my pre-LCI car which they did not fix until I change the gearbox oil and filter which fix it. My 2 year old LCI is OK. This was the same for E90 cars too. just tell the sale guy that is a common on BMW cars and he may give you a better discount or more freebies |

Well now I am considering a highly equipped MB C200 or a reasonably equipped F10.

Test drove the f10 last week, and there was no jerkiness as long as it is in sports mode. I test drove the f11 a few weeks ago which didn't have dynamic driving control and the jerkiness was sort of driving me a bit crazy.

Not the engine issue Actually all engines from BMW are class leading You will not regret to choose any of it's engine, from basic 4 banger to monster V8 turbo.

However, I drove C280 for 3years and I'm now very happy with my F10 just that I'd like to replace the coilovers (which I did the same on my c280). I also had the jerkness problem with my 528 but after a month it's getting much better now. |

Ha, you and me will be twins. You will love them. i think gunmetal goes well with black sapphire. Excellent choice. What kind of tires you have?

Yeah, IC showed his photos already. I actually like his stance with out of box setting (before settlement).

No exactly bro. Gray is quite different from black with the gunmetal.
