Pics of my 550i M-Sport - ACS Springs
Finally got my AC Schnitzer springs put on the car and WOW! What a difference! The ride is still smooth and you feel a bit more connected with the road. Adaptive drive still works great (even Comfort Mode). Handling has improved and I can now take corners kinda like I did in my M3. The look is 100x better. A big thanks to delvek and EdwinF10 for testing the ACS springs first. The car should have came like this in my opinion.

I'm going with Piano Black Forgestars. It should match up with the whole gloss black theme I got going on.

Congrats on the drop, looks awesome. Glad to hear you feeling the difference in the suspension, changes the entire personality of the car.
I would think hard about losing the Msport rims, they look awesome. I get many compliments. Enjoy your new LOWERED ride!

Thanks Guys! The ride is still so unbelievable for a lowered car. Extremely smooth! I lowered my E93 M3 on H&R's and the ride was so rough. I am really falling in love with this car. I should have updated pics later this week with new wheels and tires and painted rear reflectors.

So far so good. Congrats.
May I know what's the difference between the M5 OEM rear spoiler and the M Sport OEM rear spoiler?

I believe they are the same. The OEM performance spoiler is the one that looks different.

I had mine lowered with acs this week also. It is everything other members have posted. Remarkable design from acs. You feel so connected to the road...like a BMW should be...without compromising ride comfort. You know you are riding on something special with these springs. Absolutely no bounce! Having come from a 2003 M5 with coilovers, the 550i sport is hands down much nicer..especially with acs springs. Not to mention, I also have the Dinan 2 software upgrade. HELLO! Wow! The car is fast! At 150mph in 6th gear and pulling hard enough to keep you planted in the seat. I eased off to stay out of trouble. Man, Steve Dinan and his gang put nit together on this one.
Back to the springs. Best springs for a moderate (much needed) drop on the f10. |
