Retro-fit DAB
I've just posted this over on the UK E90 forum and thought I do likewise here for anyone regretting not getting OEM DAB in their 5'er:
Pure have just launched a hard-wired DAB tuner, anyone interested check here: http://www.whathifi.com/news/pure-la...e-installation |

I have no intention of enabling video in motion, but I was interested in the DAB, as my car didn't come with it.
Have a read of that thread from page 6 thread 125, where they state they can enable it within the car. |

As to whether or not DAB can be retro-enabled, your dealer would probably be best placed to give you a definitive answer. However, on referring to Real OEM: http://realoem.com/bmw/select.do, it would appear that there might be different part numbers for the roof antenna and car infotainment computer, dependent on whether or not it has a DAB tuner. |

To be fair, they said that they may be able to provide it subject to things like country and manufacture date, not that they definitely could: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showpost...&postcount=125
