I think it look shorter because ur diffuser is different than stock. By looking at picture, Vorsteiner diffuser sticks out more top portion than regular one.

Can the megan exhaust be put on a 550xi? Sorry if this question has been answered, but I didn't see it.

I think they should all fit. Any muffler shop can make it fit, if they can put m6 mufflers on a f10. They can definitely make a 535 fit on a 550.

It will fit, but will it sound nice is another question. It was either this one or the Vorsteiner one that said it would drone a lot on the V8 model because the air flow design wasn't set up for the added cylinders.

I don't think the 535 will fit a 550.
The 535 has 60mm piping, http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...61&hg=18&fg=20 The 550 has 70mm piping. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...10&hg=18&fg=20 Considering the Megan is a clamp-on or weld-on, so its most likely 60mm piping. So you would need to an adaptor to go from 70mm down to 60mm. Making it more restrictive them the factory muffler.

Megan racing website says
"Fit with Msport package dual opening rear bumper only" You can fit it on non Msport back bumper by just swaping the deffuser right? I was thinking hamman non Msport bumper deffuser. DD |

I saw you used hamman style deffuser, is this a DIY if you use the deffuser or body shop needs to do it.
I guess what I am asking is, if you use the original bumper and no deffuser I am assuming you need to do a perfect job so you don't see the mess up, but does the deffuser cover it all? Thanks DD |

I did the cut myself, if you are pretty good with your hands then it shouldn't be a problem. If you were to mess up then the diffusser will cover it up without a problem. I use a dremel tool to cut it.

Megan Racing used my car for the prototype and from day 1 till now not a single problem. Never had kw so I cant really tell you the difference, but I did have the H&R springs and I can tell you that the Megan coilovers are alot better. For the price msrp $999 you can't really beat it.
