Google finally did it!
Google enabled Navigation for Hong Kong
I tried it out today, going from wanchai north->wht->ssp->po kong park->eht->cwb->mid-levels. I purposely deviated from the calculated route and seems that the routing from Google Navigation is quite good! And voice directions are very clear! Only tried in english but cantonese navigation should work, too! But sorry, on Android devices only. If you have iDevices.... Good luck with your apple map

Sygic is good compare to Google map still rely on mobile data to increase its accuracy.
I used it last time while driving in Thailand. The map is accurate and POI aren't too hard to find, excellent choice given that it's free

I tried out the IOS6 maps navigation. Not bad. But I know most of the roads in HK. Navigation is almost useless for me.

Used it last friday and almost get lost
Well i think it talks too much ... I mean for roads in HK sometimes line changing happens quickly and numerously so Navigation is talking non stop ... which is a bit disturbing. Also i tried the english voice, so i am not used to hear George saying Lung cheung road With Sygic it's just saying Stay on 8 or follow the route for. Will stick for Sygic for the time being and maybe Navigation for "regular" roads |

Route 66 is late to the game..... Used it before android times and was pretty good. But now Sygic is great......
