DIY Foglights Non-Msport
Hey everyone, just got some new bulbs for the foglights, I was wondering if there were any tips or tricks to installing them. Do I just go through the mesh in the front bumper and pretty easy from there?
Thanks! |

Chances are you will. The halogen draws draws a higher voltage than the HID. When car senses a lower voltage draw, it thinks that the halogens are out and cuts it off. The error cancellers are resistors, it will trick the car that its drawing the same amount of voltage as the halogen does. You can also switch terminals if it doesn't work right away.

Thanks for your help. One last thing. So I changed out the bulbs, it looks good. Fingers feel like they're on fire, pulling the mesh pieces out. These are the ones I changed to Yellow Fog Bulbs.
Will the car register an error right away or does it take a while before the error appears. Thanks again EV0LVE for your help. |

I totally misread your post, I thought you were installing HID. I apologize for the confusion. If its just a bulb, then its a straight swap.
Thats what I get for whoring the forums while waiting for my wife doing Christmas shopping. Dont forget to post pictures. Cheers! |

Were you happy with this company and the quality of these bulbs, I was thinking about ordering the white fog lights to match my headlights |
