Has Anyone heard of 90210 Investment Group?
They claim that if you can't pay for your lease or purchased vehicle anymore, or don't want to, they will find a "permissive user" to make the payments for you free of charge. Under contract, you are not liable for the car under any cicumstance until it's turned in or paid off whatsoever? They will also pay to have the car shipped to Southern California. Has anyone used this company or heard anything about them?

All of these type of plans are a scam!! You will always be responsible for payments unless you use something like leasetrader or swapalease... I tried doing this with an ML500 a few years back and got screwed over.. never got payments and it took them 6 months to give me my car back

Not a scam, my attorney checked it out
Hey fellow BMW lovers, I was contacted by 90210 as well a couple of weeks ago, very leery at first, definitely thought it was too good to be true, but my name didn't come off of the loan so that would have been my preferred choice. I'm slightly upside down so I considered the company as a second option especially since only one buyer seemed truly interested. I had my attorney research the company and their proposed services and actually found positives. They don't fall under the subleasing law and since Chase can't tell me who can drive my car then I just thought of it as a rental I guess. I've read on scams that screw you but the validity of what they offer was legit. I met with them at their office, professional presentable, if this buyer doesn't go through I'm going to take 90210 up on their offer. Attorney said contracts looked fine and I was protected so I'm going to take my chances. Great trade off if it does work out. I will keep you posted.

One more thing
Just read a previous post, since when does google dictate what's reality?! Internet is a free for all and if we relied on google for the "truth," we'd all be screwed. Love google but I take what I find with a grain of salt sometimes, and make decisions off educated research. The negativity now a days is all everyone dwells on. No offense meant.

Swap a L, congrats!
Sorry my post disappeared, anyways that's great you found someone. Be careful of Swap a L in the future, they are in a mess with a libel suit or something. I knew someone who worked for Swap, they are so rude and from what I read, they talk a lot of crap on people. Guess there's scam reports about Swap a L. Who knows. I'm sure there's bad and good with any business. I will keep you posted with updates and good luck to you! Thanks for the insight.

If it sounds too good to be true it is too good to be true.
If the person you give your car to decides to run away with your car and not pay, you can't even call it in stolen (it happened to me) so insurance won't pay Also if he decides to go drinking and driving and hits someone you will be liable Think about it before making that move |

Like you said, the internet is a free for all and it is up to each person to inform itself to make an intelligent decision. If this company is as good as you say it is then I'm glad that you found a way out of your current vehicle. Is not easy to sell a car when you're upside down, been there and done that.

excuse me?
I'm not going to get in a pissing match with you, and maybe you don't mean offense, however I recently subscribed because I was also researching things and felt I should share my experience. Why is this wrong? I never even knew about this site, I love BMW's and thought it would be fun to blog. Yes, maybe I should ask 90210 if they are hiring? LOL! I have a job myself and that's not with their company. Again, I felt I was helping out by sharing feedback, especially if what 90210 offers could actually help me! I wanted to get feedback as well from people. This BMW isn't breaking me, I just wanted a newer car. Sorry for any offense, and I will limit my blogging I guess in the future. Still stand with my original post.

entities?
and entities that are saying they are a scam aren't reputable entities, that's why I chose to take all my research to the next level and I made an educated decision. I'm sure you can respect that.

Seems like this company operates under several names.....and all the stories seem the same about it being a scam. |
