I was skeptical when I read your post, but after reviewing the numbers and plugging them in, you definitely got a great deal. especially with your fico score. Congrats

Where did you buy this car at?
$1900 UNDER invoice is awesome! Did you include BMW Loyalty Money in that? Quote:

Gixxer, there was no loyalty or competitor bonus. This was straight up deal. i had 2001 toyota camry before the BMW. the only thing i don't have is Msport. But as you can see, coming from 2001 camry; anything is better. i could have done even better, if i wasn't too lasy in December. i got really busy with the vacation and should have locked the incentives from December and looked for the car in Jan. But lesson learned, next time will be on my toes. Thanx! |

Hello,
Ok this is what I was offered today via email, I still think there is room to work here but right now this is what they offered. Some of their fees I think are high and when I estimate the payment their quoted payment seems high. 2013 BMW 550i Titanium Silver Metallic Black Dakota Leather Driver Assistance Executive Package M Sport Luxury Seating Sport Automatic Transmission Power Rear Sunshade Heated Seats $74,770 MSRP $69,350 Dealer Invoice (includes MACO and Training fees of $580) Offered the car to me at $500 over invoice. So car cost $69,850. There is ceramic tint already on the car but that was not priced out in the invoice and not clear in the fees if that was added in somewhere. Residual: 62% Lease Factor: .0013 36 Months, 12K Per Year City Sales Tax: 8.95% Fees They Describe Acquisition Fee: $925 Cash: $1000 (What is this - a cap reduction??) Government Fees: $1070.07 (Title) Doc Fee: $489 Total Initial Payment is $2500. I am assuming they took the $1500 lease cash and applied it to the drive off fees. Is that normal or should that come off the negotiated price of the car? Their payment estimate was $919.85. My payment estimate is $875.57 and according to the lease calculator mine seems to be right. It appears their sales tax estimate is about $300 over what I calculated but that cannot be the ~$50 per month difference. Thoughts on this deal? |

Your MSRP was slightly higher than mine, but so is your down payment. My recommendation is to pay down security deposits to reduce the MF. Also, I think your payment should be no more than $800 before tax (even then, you are about where I am, but as evidenced by others, you can do better).
They will balk and say they are offering you the greatest deal of all time. You can either push back and win, push back and they drop the deal, or pay their offer and they win. Happy negotiating!
