F10 Methanol Injection N55
I have been trying to do some research on the boards and it does not seem there are many if any people on here running methanol on their 535i N55s. I have a 14' 535i and am about to pull the trigger on a RSI catless downpipe as well as a JB4 Stage 2. Also I am having a custom 3" catless straight pipe exhaust custom made for me.
I'm looking to squeeze the most power I can out of this motor and noticed that SOME but very few people have done meth injection (seems like it's mostly a N54 thing) I noticed BMS has a meth injection kit where it stores it in the trunk (seems much safer than running it in the washer reservoir. http://burgertuning.com/meth.html Anyone have any experience with this kit or with meth injection? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

Nobody huh? I found one person who is going balls to wall and running Meth + E85, or at least he is trying to. Having an issue with BMS Flex Fuel wires.
Has ANYONE done this before? Doesn't look like it. |

I think this was around more often for the N54 as there was much more room for tuning. The F10 N55 is basically at a stand still, so adding meth may help a little but seems like a lot of work for little benefit.

The f10 and the f30 have a lot in common. Just more f30 people willing to mod.

I am running meth using a custom 335 N55 CP for the F10. The issues you first will have is having a cp made. Once done I would advise you not to do excessive log type runs where you are wot at a low rpm in the powerband of 3rd gear. I run FBO+Meth with 100 octane and I am generating enough torque that if I try to open the throttle in a low rpm I can get the trans to slip.
