2014 535i Custom Straight Pipe exhaust
Evolution Racewerks downpipe W/ Custom straight pipe exhaust. No cat, no resonators. Dual 2.5" piping splitting off into dual 3" piping out the end.
The car really sounds amazing from the outside, the straight 6 really shines through when it gets to the higer RPM. I will get some better videos and pictures by the weekend, finished the exhaust late today and had to make due. The amount of spool heard from outside is purely insane PS. Don't mind the heavy breathing, Asthma is on the fritz. Make sure to turn quality in HD! 20131204_162206 by grumpy514, on Flickr 20131204_172824 by grumpy514, on Flickr BEFORE: Stock Exhaust Held at 3k & 4.5k RPMS, Max rev. 6k AFTER: Evolution Racewerks Downpipe, dual 2.5" exhaust pipes to dual 3" exhaust pipes. Underview: Inside car, windows down. Shoutout to Evolution Racewerks for the great downpipe & customer service, I think I may be one of the first F10 drivers with one of theirs on! 20131202_111504 by grumpy514, on Flickr Shoutout also to Burgertuning for their great customer service with the JB4 install. My previous car had the same setup however was much louder being a complete 3" straight pipe with a 4" catless bellmouth downpipe. It also had an external wastegate dump, it could probably be heard a good 1/2 mile away during WOT. |

In my opinion, the 5er needs a more refined sound to match its looks, but to each his own. Car does sound very aggressive, glad you are happy with the outcome.

It's very guttural that is for sure, I personally love the uncorked sound from any car. Every car I have owned has been pretty in your face and loud. Surprisingly driving around time in a normal manner keeping the revs low it is not that loud at all (to me) and even with the windows up I can hear my stereo system perfectly.

I like the raw sound. Reminds me of my E90 back in the day. Now, I have toned it down a lot. Getting old. LOL
