I have a question for you. I am trying to install M5 diffuser on my 13 550i with msport package and can't seem to install the bottom black diffuser piece. It's keep touching the metal bar that has sensor strip on it. Please advise.

Sensors must be relocated when putting the M5 diffuser on a non M F10 car. There are many threads on this so just do a quick search. You must either buy the M5 sensor holder and install it or move your current rear comfort sensor to a new location. GL

I dont think you will have an issue then. I have comfort access on mine so I decided to cut the plastic piece and move one sensor in the back. And its still not fitting for mine. I have to take all the sensors and relocate them somewhere else and then install it. Debating on if I should go through all the hassle or not.

Middly, since you have much experience with the exhaust, given your custom build, do you think an akrapovic M5 evo exhaust would bolt right up to an F10 550i, specifically a 2014 LCI? Thanks in advance.

I think that the akra M5 exhaust would be the perfect exhaust for the 550 with minor modifications. If this exhaust was available when I bought my car, that would of been the way I would have done it.

Nicely done. Be interested in knowing how the tips we're applied to the M5 mufflers. I'm trying to do the same thing with my 535 and another brand exhaust. But same concept....

itsa direct fit... all you have to do is remove the plastic frame behind the bumper and M5 diffuser will snap right in.
