A/C Button Cap's
Does anyone know where to find the button cap circled below? Mine has faded for some reason and when i asked the dealer if they can fix it.They used a sticker with the same design and stuck it over the button.
Is that the only route? Stickers? I checked realOEM.com and side it was discontinued |

I had the same problem on the fan button, Start/Stop button and trunk release. The dealer replaced all under warranty. This is a known problem with early model year F10's.

Thats is like fixing a check engine light with a piece of tape over it so you cant see the light anymore I would file a complaint with BMW NA, I would never accept that kind of mickey mouse repair from a luxury car dealer. By the way, the button cap cannot be replace, the whole button cluster has to be replace.

We'll guys i went back up to the dealer to express my feelings on the poor repair of the fan buttons and the service advisor agreed that this was clearly unacceptable. They went ahead and replaced the entire panel! On the down side while my car was in the shop for repair there was a recall SIB 12 24 13 for a DSC module, don't know what it was about but it took 8 business day to get the car back. I read on the paperwork that the programming failed 3 times and finally worked on the fourth try after switching the DSC module again. All my coding was wiped out which sucked! They had to program the car for 6 hours as they said. I wonder if it was updated to the latest software? Anyhow soon as I got home I spent and hour coding it all back the way I wanted and also plugged my burger tuning JB stage 1 back in. I'm a happy camper now =)
