Has anyone installed a M Performance steering wheel on a 2012 528i X-drive? Is there any pricing or cost for the whole hting?

Remember to include the cost of a new airbag, unless you already have the Sport or M Sport steering wheel. The base model steering wheel uses a different airbag.

I know this has been discussed and I am 99% certain the answer is yes, but will the 2014 F10 M Performance Sport Steering wheel w/ paddles fit in a 2011 F10 M Sport w/ paddles, plug and play? I am okay with purchasing a new airbag, however I want to confirm that the swap will work. I am pretty sure I will lose the heated steering wheel capability, but if someone can confirm that as well that would be appreciated.
Also I am reading others putting an F30 M Performance Sport Steering Wheel in there F10? Is it smaller in size and circumference? |

M Performance Steering Wheel
I am in similar situation. Trying to upgrade my 2013 535XI non-sport to either M-sport or M Performance Steering Wheel. The offered M Performance upgrades that directly fit on my car will not have heating feature that I do have but M5 M Performance 2 wheels do have. I have talked to a dealer and they are not helpful, coming back with bunch of excuses that it's hard and they aren't in the business of retrofitting. I have contacted euroactive seller (BMW OEM parts and accessories) on ebay and he said that it can be done but new wiring interconnect from steering wheel column to airbag needs to be purchased. Trying to talk live with store representative to get more info and part numbers of all items required to make this retrofit work. I want to go with M5 M Performance 2 wheel to have a great look and keep my heating feature working.
