Brake pad upgrade
Hey guys does anyone know of a brake pad upgrade for the 535i (XDrive if that matters)? I would like an improvement in braking performance but I"m not willing to shell out $4k+ for a Brembo BBK.
Any suggestions and thanks! |

Hi,
Just installed EBC Redstuff brake pads. They are a vast improvement even when the brakes are cold. But when they get warm, BOY do they feel better!!! When the brakes are warm/hot (like they get under active driving with hard braking) the Redstuff pads grip like crazy. I actually had to adapt to their bite and use less pedal force to avoid getting ABS treshold kicking in so soon. These pads is a very good upgrade of the stock brakes IMO. The Redstuff pads should also decrease brake dust. Ordered mine from CARiD. They where VERY helpful and accomodating with my order and kept me informed. Highly recommended seller. http://www.carid.com/2011-bmw-5-seri...s-4191706.html They also offer other brands of ceramic brake pads, like Akebono. Last edited by Boss330; 07-24-2014 at 05:41 AM.. |
