Eibach or H&R Springs?!?! 2011 535i M-Sport
What do you guys think? Eibach or H&R Springs? I just put 21's on and this thing needs a drop bad. I live in metro Atlanta with MANY potholes. I would live to maintain some ride comfort with the car also.
Ive searched and searched a decent bit. Not many pics of owners with Eibach springs on their F10s. i feel with the M sport suspension, going to Eibach i wont gain much of a drop. But ive heard H&R you loose all comfort of the car and super bouncy. Anyone with Eibach or H&R, could you please post pics! or send a link! |

When I did research on suspension, it seemed like the amount of drop from H&R springs is inconsistent.
Some cars like MellowYellow have the perfect drop, looks like coilovers... Other cars I saw, it looked like the car wasnt lowered that much. There was still a gap. |

Dont be fooled byt the variance as they all fall to the same height. The difference you see in the pix can be caused by different angles of the shots, new springs that havent settled yet, believe it or not a wrong offset (usually a high offset) will tuck your wheels in the fender showing more of a gap. For instance, I like this shot, but with lighting aiming at my fenders to enhance the wheel well and lying on the ground, it looks like a higher car. I used TOYO T1R 255/30/21 & 295/25/21 Springs dont have much of a bounce. You do notice you are lowered by a bit stiffer ride but it is really not too noticeable or harsh in any way.

Which H&R springs did you install - Drop? I have 20" on my 530d msport and wanted to know how much i can drop without it rubbing as still want to be able to carry 4 adults with luggage. front 245/35/20 rear 275/30/20 thanks in advance. |

I have the Eibach on my car and couldnt be more pleased both by the ride and drop. If you have LOTs of potholes they might be a better choice than the H&R?
Since I haven't had both type of springs on my car, it's hard to compare the difference in ride height and ride on the same car. But my car looks just as low as H&R lowered cars. And it has a really nice stance BTW, Eibach makes the AC Schnitzer springs as well. |

38 back and 35 front.
I put a 3mm spacer out back and a 10 mm up front for a more flush look and no rubbing whatsoever so now its 35 back and 25 front
