I love the zymol but it doesn't last. I bought a jar of the concours wax for like $150 and it has lasted for many waxes. Was it worth the money? Probably not. The carbon is probably the better way to go.
Does anyone have any experience with the Adams Patriot wax? I'm thinking about getting the Adams sealer and then putting a good coat of the Patriot wax over it. I would love to hear from someone who has used the Adams products. |

Wolfgang sealant and fusion wax combo. The sealant is durable (6 months at least) and provides some depth to the shine. With their wax on top ... incredible. I apply with a Porter Cable orbital buffer, and combine this with mild paint preparation to really show off the carbon black on my F10.

Collinite 845 - I can go from May to October and it still beads water.

There are many things to consider when it comes to wax.
I use Swissvax, very good results, but pricey, the non-PTFE lasts 6 months, and the PTFE wax last up to a year. A wax that works well for someone may not work well for someone else. Some waxes are made to hold up in dry climate and scorching sun, while others to cope with lots of rain. The initial gloss will be the same, but if you find yourself re-applying wax frequently you may use the wrong wax for your climate. A wax that works well and lasts long in Texas may not hold up in LA or NY. And the other way around. |

I have been using for years Pete's 53 and I'm very happy with it. I wash my f10 only with the high pressure cleaner and never with the brush or sponge. Only wash and all dirt is gone. Before each BMW meeting i grow the car at all and all fine stripes and shadows ged rid. With Pete's Wax I need about an hour for the whole car and everything is perfect for me.
