Just added a 2016 535i to the stable ^_^
Love the car very much and could not have been happier with the color combo. To get the paint smooth and fresh I clay barred and sealed the car with Jet Sealant from Chemical Guys as well as the wheels with poor boys wheel sealant.
Highly recommend anyone who wants to truly protect the paint and keep its longevity to do the same. Hope you enjoy the pics! No mods as of yet but I did buy a sunshade for the interior =). Still have this ///M as well: |

Is that the mocha nappa interior? I have that one and I love it. Thanks for sharing your paint shine tips. I aso use chemical guys and their products work great. Keep us posted with your future mods.

Congrats on the F10 Bud. Nice colour combo! And that E46 M3. I miss mine terribly ... except for that damn clunky SMGII gearbox. This aside, I enjoyed spending hours washing and polishing it on weekends Nuff of the trip down memory lane ... enjoy them both.

I used to wash and detail my cars on a monthly basis to keep them in pristine condition. As time passed, obligations and priorities just toppled on one another and I just can not find the time to do a wash every 2 weeks. Took me 3 to 4 local car washes near my office to finally find one that did the best work. Only issue is that they are go-happy with the porter cable when applying the wax so sometimes it gets on the windshield and in between the parking sensors... which I end up having to clean up with one of my detail brushes. Thus, I only clay bar and seal the car myself once a year now. I don't trust anyone with doing full details on any of my cars but myself though. I still have Chemical Guys, Swissvax, Glasse, Meguiars etc. products. Favorite of all is Swissvax... Not the best picture but these are all I really use when I can wash my car: |

Thanks very much. I have the SMGII gearbox in this one as well and it is does shutter on 1st gear especially on hills and at start up. However, the engine, handling and power is just something else with the E46.

Interesting. Thankfully my gearbox never shuttered. It was precise when it changed gears but it was like Thor's hammer coming down on an anvil - THUNNNK!! And then it threw your body into the seat with 2G's of force, saying 'f**k you very much' but without buying you dinner first. I loved it cos it was mad raw. Maybe I fed it too much juice as I remember it screamed at me like a Banshee. Angry Bitch!
