in my old e39 which i owned from 2005-2015 I had a cold air intake, and never did i have an issue with CARB, until last summer, the same shop that always did my smog, failed me because i had an aftermarket intake.
Hence why i don't want to chance it with the oem m5 competition package cats... btw i'll be posting the m5 competition package cats up for sale once my exhaust is installed (should have the car back tomorrow or thursday) to the OP does this rpi exhaust have valves |

Not "no drone", every exhaust ha some drone. Rather the RPI has barely noticeable and easily tolerable drone - and that's when I am in Sport+ (whcih I am nearly all the time). If you switch to ECO or normal mode the drone is completely gone.

LOL,yeah, it sounds great and I still have mufflers and I don;t have a downpipe.......yet. It's on the list, just living in CA means it has to be catted to pass smog
