Anyone ever had suspension "clanging" on their F10s?
I'm having noise on the right side that sounds similar to if you ran over a man hole cover. It has a metallic clang with any rapid suspension articulation. I used to think it was indeed the man hole covers that made that noise, but recently I was under an overpass with bumpy pavement and heard it loud and clear. I checked my exhaust and nothing loose there. I'm gonna take it into the dealer, but wanted to know if its a known thing or not... the whole dealer thing being a PITA and all.

Yes it is!! I'll take it in. I feel like there is some play in the steering or there will be vibration sometimes from the front when the suspension is light. It comes and goes so I'm wondering if its the wheel bearing.
The bearing you're referring to is wheel bearing or drive shaft? |
