Strange Check Light
Got a strange check control light yesterday; "Canadian Model Emission Control". Strange, because my car is a US model, original sold (new) in Indiana. Any thoughts on what is going on or how to reset this warning light? The car is running just fine.

Cdn cars have an image of an engine block with the description 'Emissions in Canadian models'. The 'Canadian' manual comes from Germany and includes all F10 models for BOTH U.S. AND Canadian models including 550s. Check out page 77 (2012 manual) for the 'Overview: Indicator/warning lamps'. There is no other reference in the manual (that I could find quickly). Tell your friendly beast it is always welcome in Canada (at least for the next 4 years).
