The 225 HP version did not appear until full 65' model year. The D code is one of the rarest engine options ever put in a Ford car. |

At the risk of being too nostalgic, one of my favourite cars, and one to this day which I still regret selling, was my '69 Cougar XR7. It was white with blue leather interior, had an 8-track tape deck, sport wheels, and a 351 that a mechanic indicated to me was a 'special 351' that had the best features of both the Windsor and the Cleveland. I'm not sure if that motor even existed, but could it have been the M code? I owned it from '79 to '80.

I think I might be being a little nostalgic too, but for me it has to be my first two cars. A MKll Golf GTi 8v and a MKll Golf GTi 16v after I wrote the first one off within six months of buying it
They handled great, were pretty quick (especially the 16v as it was heavily modded and rolling road tuned) and I could do most of the maintenance myself. Although I have owned many technologically superior cars since there's something about the simplicity of these old cars that I loved... They were relatively easy and cheap to modify for looks and performance

E60 M5 S85 V10
That car was a 'supercar' of its time and I don't know if BMW could ever match it. It was a BLAST to drive. The SMG had you in tune with the car. The feeling from shifting at redline and it's agility around corners is unmatched in my collection of cars that I've owned. Nothing against my current F10 550, because this is faster and doesn't have near the amount of problems the S85 did, it just doesn't ride the curves like the e60 did. Also, that sound of the V10 with meistershaft headers really brought it to life. |

My favorite car (beside my F10 of course) was my last car; my 2008 Mercedes Benz C300. It was my first car that I fully was about to modify to the way I want. Had that car for about 3.5 years before selling it and getting a BMW.
Things I did to it: - Tint 35%, Blacked out rims & trim, De-badged, Black grill - 5000k Fog Lights, LED Interior Lights & Eyelids, OEM Color Spoiler - X-Pipe & Muffler Delete, Front/Rear Spacers, H&R Super Sport Springs |

1990 MR-2 Turbo. Mid Engine car was a blast to drive, but definitely kept you on you toes as the ass end had a tendency to come around on you. The pic attached is the same color as mine, although mine had T-Tops!!!!

Cougars only came with 351 Windsor's and Cleveland's. In 69 the H code was the 351 Windsor 2V and the M code was the 351 Windsor 4V. In early 70 model year, the Windsor was replaced by the Cleveland in H code 2V and M code 4V. In 71 the whole car changed to a completely different platform and had the Cleveland in an H code 2V, M code 4V, Q code "351 Cobra Jet" and R code "Boss 351". The Boss are extremely rare ad valuable. If you car had a factory 1969 351, it was a Windsor. I've owned more Cougars than I can count. |

Ah - thanks. Definitely '69, and definitely 4V, so M Code. Oddly enough, I lived in Windsor at the time!
