Need some advice on 343 wheels
Hey guys - I've been looking around on this forum for weeks now. I purchased a 14 550i xdrive about a month and a half ago. Car has m package, DHP. What I'm trying to do is find a set of M5 343 style wheels, and this seems to be quite difficult. Not looking to spend $4,500 on a new set off of amazon. From what I've read, the knock off rims on ebay are a risk? For the guys that have these wheels, did you just wait around for a member to sell their rims off their m5?
Also - hoping these will work with xdrive, can anyone confirm that? I would like to put H&R springs on it too...but can't seem to find a thread that has answers on if that would mess up the DHP on my car. Thanks for any insight here..... |

There are a few sets for sale now in the M5 section. I would say you can get a set for about $2k.

Thanks much Bake. I'll have to check that out! What about DHP on H&R's? Will that mess it all up? Not sure if it's worth it to mess with the ride just for a little drop. I'm hoping the 20inch wheel will help fill in this enormous gap that i have now. Here's the car....

The gap will be the same since you'll need thinner tires on those 20s. And i my experience, the gap will look even bigger when the tirewall becomes thinner.

The 343 wheels can work on your X-Drive, but you have to be careful with tire sizing. You can also run the H&R springs with DHP. My car isn't X-Drive, but I am running ACS Springs on my car and have DHP as well. 343's will look great on your car!

Did you only change the springs or the suspensions as well? I'm thinking about lowering my car and heard that it's better to change both.

I just replaced my springs. I will go with some upgraded dampers once these are worn out.
