No but I know plenty of people who use the US tuners and their response times generally aren't same day so it doesn't really matter where in the world your remote tuner is.

Right now I have no more inlets available, but if there is enough demand, I will have more made. I don't want to thread jack, there is another thread specifically about the inlet at: https://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1528349
What rpm do you change gears with pure stage2? I was thinking about 6800rpm would be best?

I usually change gears at 6000-6200 RPM, keeping boost around 20 PSI and staying in the maximum part of the torque curve.

I guess I will have to see how my torque curve looks like and adjust shiftpoints accordingly in xHP once it is released.

Due to snow in Chicago we had to skip lpfp stage 2 diy, because I wouldnt get my car back until Monday due to dealership needed to move cars inside to shovel snow in the parking lot. So my car wouldnt have room to get out. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I will get the diy done and take pics with update.

Dme update review:

Anyone feeling harsh upshifts and harsh downshifts should get dme update. My car shifts so smooth now that I dont even know when it downshifted or upshifted. I believe my car year model had this jerky shift issue, which seems to have been completely cured with dme update. I am waiting on road to clear up to see how WOT shifts feel like.

That would be mostly from the TCU update. MHD will downgrade DME software to a version from 2016.

I think this dme update calibrates how dme talks to the tcu.

I read in another thread this guy was having same issue as me and dme update fixed the issue.

I will try to dig up the post.

Tcu was on latest firmware.

Yeah DME updates have improvements. I just assumed you got both. Maybe contact MHD and share the improvements you feel and ask that they add support for that ROM without downgrading to older when flashing.

Maybe my rom that got upgraded was to 2006 update... this is the first time I upgraded the dme and it was never done before. Do you know if there is a newer version? I will have to connect MHD app and see what version it shows. Ill post tomorrow when I get time.

Actually you have a 2011 which might have the older MEVD172 rather than MEVD1726, in which case MHD probably does already support the latest for them.

If you have an MEVD1726 535i, you probably have 00000FEF firmware. Latest version is 129_180_00x (2018). MHD overwrites it with 129.160_00x (2016).

If your DME had never been upgraded before, why do you think the TCU is already on the latest? For a 2011 car, it's highly beneficial to upgrade the I-step of the whole car, which will update almost every module.

Remember, torque is generally more desirable than HP. HP can be increased just by raising the redline.

HP is how fast you hit the wall.... Torque is how hard!

If my hpfp fuel pump is same as the n54 generation then I can hope to make at least 470whp I think on 93oct. Now lets see how xdrive impacts that number.

There is a guy on jb4 forums thats pushing 20psi on 93 oct on 535i non-xdrive.

445 HP / 498 Ft/lb Torque, this was prior to inlet and running OTS Tune. Better results should be coming soon. I am working on tune now, but too much going on in life, it isn't a high priority right now. Renovating 2 homes and moving has taken over for the last few months and a little bit more to go. Hopefully in march I'll have new numbers.
