Remap my F10 MY2012
Hello guys, after some research in my home country I have found out that the price for having my vehicle remapped is very high. This leads me thinking what actually makes the cost so high when all they do is actually flashing a modded software through the OBD.
My car is 520D and I desperately need to upgrade it, because I feel it very slow So my question to you guys is if someone knows what is the exact method of remapping, is it something which I can do it on my own as long as I have the modded software. What equipment I will need and will it take a lot of time to go through? Any guidance will be much appreciated! |

Really? I find 184 hp/350 nm of torque more than adequate for European roads - and I regularly travel in the 140-160 km/h (86-100 mph) range. Your main concern should be a possible timing chain failure of the dreaded N47 engine...

Do you have a full service history? Maybe it already has been changed. According to my BMW specialist friend, the timing chain and guides on the N47 should be changed at 200.000 km latest (better a lot before).
