528i Heater issues!
Recently purchased a 2011 528i and noticed the heater wasn't getting up to full heat at all. Engine warmed up as indicated by the temp gauge, but I had cold air blowing.
I immediately brought it back to BMW service, its been there for about a week, and they haven't been able to properly diagnose the issue. They changed a water hose and or pump..according to the receptionist I spoke to (not a creditable source) but I was told they would call me tomorrow and let me know what was going on. Any ideas? I had the car about 4 days before taking it in and I'm almost tempted to ask for another vehicle seeing as I've lost faith in my purchase. |

That was my first guess when I did the research. They had it over a week and changed the water valve, but today they let me know they are going to change the heater core. Thanks for the input!

I doubt its the heater core. I think they are replacing parts at your expense until they figure it out. I'd ask for all of the removed parts.
