Had a body work guy help out with trimming the internal section. He has done body work for 40 years.

alright guys got around to mocking this up yesterday after work. so far everything seems to line up good. the top where it meets the hood I need to make some adjustments which is no problem. I do want to ask should I have the mesh grills painted JetBlack or leave them alone?

new front bumper support

mesh grills installed. I will say these snapped in place with no issues whatsoever. the quality is on point

so wanted to show how things lined up. pretty tight if you ask me as most aftermarket bumpers give you about a 90% fit

and here's where it meets the hood. just need to make some minor adjustments

with the new bumper I went ahead and ordered a set of Carbon Fiber emblems for the hood and trunk. also ordered a set of Carbon Fiber black double slat grills!

Called the shop for an update and it's been painted and waiting for wet sand and buff. I also had them paint the lower grills which he said pops and it looks so much better than the normal color of black plastic

shop called me and said my front bumper is ready to be picked up. Carbon fiber splitters looks to be enroute from Michigan last time I checked status and
also i'm replacing my gloss black double slat grills with the carbon fiber version!

also replacing both front bumper/trunk badges with the carbon fiber version from JBSpeed

picked up the bumper today and oh my god it's freakin' AWESOME! so glad I decided to paint the lower grills JetBlack as well. the shop said to wait a few days and they'll do another buff to clean things up

Just waiting for the carbon splitters to be delivered. Hopefully tomorrow according to the tracking info. Than I'll be able to get the lower carbon fiber splitter installed

alright people! here it is! bumper splitters didn't fit as I realized that the M5 F90 is wider than the F10. kinda sucks but I posted them for sale in the M5 F90 forum

I should've taken a picture before I put the carbon fiber lip but here's what it looks like. completely larger as it doesn't fit length wise

but here's the final product. I think it looks clean with just the carbon fiber splitter and if those bumper inserts worked I think it would've look too busy

BMW badges from JBSpeed came in! quality is pretty on point. pretty solid with a bit of weight to them. I was worried they were going to be some cheap plastic but this is very well made

just for reference here's what I had before. from shadowtrim kits here's their version just a carbon fiber sticker which is really well made as I've had it on for 4 years

and here's JBSpeed's which the whole cap is glossy

alright fellows so while i'm still waiting for my CF double slat grills to come in next on the project to do list is working on my exhaust. specifically the tips. here's what I have currently. as you can see the tips sit way too under the diffuser and I was suppose to bring it back to the muffler shop to have them extend it out.

in this angle you can barely see them poking

so what i'm planning on doing is removing the EVC since I don't use it as I leave the flaps open all the time is to have the muffler shop cut off about 2" of the pipe where it meets the muffler. have them add an extension of the pipe to come out to where I can fit some new tips that sit anywhere from 1"-2.5" past the diffuser.

i'll be odering four of these CF tips off Ebay. the size will be 4" as I feel the 3.5" are quite small if you ask me.
