Cannot remove airbag on M-sport steering wheel

I got carbon fiber steering wheel that needed an airbag and I was testing fitment of my airbag on this new carbon steering wheel. It is M-sport steering wheel like this one https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=32_2235

The airbag didn't go in easily (as shown on youtube videos), it took little force to get it in, but now I cannot get it out.

I push a spring with a screwdriver in a hole on each side of the steering wheel, but airbag is held very firmly in place. I can see through the small hole on the back of the wheel that I am actually pushing a spring with a screwdriver but airbag is not moving.
Maybe I pinched a wire as I was pushing airbag in place. Has anyone seen anything like this or does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do to get the airbag out?

Try having someone pull... HARD... while you release the spring. Hope you didn't pinch a wire!

I got it out, I had to cut the steering wheel cover with dremel tool and wedge big flat screwdriver and push it out from below with the screwdriver while compressing the release spring. None of wires was pinched, I still don't understand why left side spring was stuck so hard. New wheel cover (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/32307848268/) is on the way...
