Like in the previous-generation car, power will be delivered to all four wheels via a turbocharged inline four cylinder engine, though bigger in displacement at 2.5 liters versus the original car's 2.3 liter four, according to Auto Express. While it's not known if the engine will also feature direct-injection, it'd be a step backwards, and the 280 horsepower rating also points to the technology's integration.
Performance should be similar to the last car, with 0-60mph acceleration in about six seconds, and a limited top speed of 155mph. The hot 6 should also include more capable braking and suspension systems, and appropriate body styling to reflect its mission, including side skirts and a spoiler as well as larger wheels and intakes. The car should be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October, with a production model coming in 2010, at least in European markets. The second generation car should also be offered in station wagon, coupe, convertible and hatchback versions of the faster, more powerful 6, in addition to the sedan body style of the previous car.

Looks much better than the stock 6. I've seen a few more since I last commented on it but I'm sorry it's just UGLY. The car looks too bulky to be sporty, and even resembles the Lexus IS. The rear is just bland bland bland!
I think the car is bland all over actually because the design is too cold/calculated. The lights, grille etc dont flow into eachother, instead they seem as if they have just been placed perfectly on the car. The side panels lack detail or strong character lines to give the car any identity. Now, back to this new Speed version. It looks slightly tacky and still looks bulky. It does look a LOT better, but its seriously flawed.
