That's what I mean as far as reading all the bad stuff about stock inlets, but Steven is a pretty credible dude

Your wgdc should be your indication. Monitor/log it and you will have your answer.

I discovered it when I tried to perform a leak test and the system wouldn't pressurize and a huge air leaking sound as soon as added compressed air. This would account for my recent wgdc random 100% spikes and slow full boost under 3k.

Switching back to stock inlet for now.

When you have spare parts and sold your BMS intake:
Hmm... I haven't notice wdgc go crazy in my logs yet so I guess my inlet he send is holding up... So you went back to normal intake setup? What was the issue with your custom intake?

I haven't put the stock back on yet. The issue with AZ inlet not seated correctly is on me but since it's such a PITA to install and remove it's still in.

Looking at the FTP inlet rn.

My custom intake was giving me errors with D Shoups tune. He needed to scale the MAF but to get things right we wanted to remove anomalies out the equation.

So after you get your tune set with that variable removed (your custom intake), is he going to go back and re-scale the MAF so you can go to your custom intake? I like it cause it not only makes sense, it sounds better, and should help with IATs.

Yeah we want to dial this is in with as a little as variables as possible and then we'll do one piece at a time. Custom inlet, custom ram, etc.

That's awesome and is how it should be done. Man, for what you are paying him he is going through a lot of revisions for you all! Good value!!!!

New log:
https://datazap.me/u/ziekxq/v219-log?log=0&data=4-22

We are doing 5th gear pulls because 4th gear was causing issue with 5th gear for some reason, but with tuning in 5th gear the 4th gear works fine.

I believe we are almost done, just need to raise wdgc at higher rpm.

That is nice! almost 20 lbs right at 3k rpms and down to 18 at the end of the run. With the WGDC adjustment will that help you keep boost up?

Yeah it should help me hold boost till 6000-6200 rpm then tapper off to around 16 psi. Once that is done, I am going to wait till summer comes by and get my self Helix as Shoup said I will make a lot more powa!!!

Hopefully next couple revision is all it going to take. After that I want to get it on dyno so I can see before and after Helix comparison though I don't know if it is possible with all the lockdown that is going on in Illinois.

Very nice, can you get any pulls recorded with your phone? Just the gauge cluster? I'd love to see a rolling pull from like 30 or 40 mph.

It can do better because right now after 5k rpm the boost drops from 18 to like 16 then to 15psi, so waiting on new revision to fix that. I might record 40mph 2nd gear as well to see how that does.

Thanks... With a little bit more tweak to upper rpm boost and one less passenger in the car next time hopefully I can do better 3rd gear pull lol.

Then I'll do Helix OD and call it a day... I might go two maps pump for winter and e85 for summer because I don't know how e85 going to work in Chicago winter.

Good stuff. Can't wait to find and fix my leak. I'm keeping my AZ-MCRacer inlet. I fitted it with part of the stock grommet so there's no unmetered air happening at that point. I think my leak is at the valve cover which i don't have prior to the DS tune. Which means his tune found my weak points when setting the target to 22psi.

Ah so you cut part of the gasket from the stock inlet and used that to seal the bigger inlet pipe?

When is he doing another run of those!

I am just wondering if he is getting me to 20psi now and adjust tune for timing then how much I can get out of Helix. I think lpfp stage 2 is helping as that is one of the things David Shoup asked me about before I bought his tune. I think I am also going to get the breather oil cap to help with crankcase pressure.
