Ask if he's willing to cover the Venmo 2.5% refund fee. If he's not, that's 100% a scam. You gotta really abuse PayPal to get them to suspend your account.

Wow didn't know this kid was like that.. He messaged me a few weeks back and asked me to help him though the LPFP Upgrade because I added a bunch of new info to that post when I did mine.. I legit walked him through everything via IG DM and video chat.. After hours of helping him he said he wanted to pay me for my time and then sent me $15 via Venmo..

As soon as he posted that PayPal picture the red flag popped up for me. Especially once he mentioned Venmo.

I had no idea about Venmo's refund fee but I knew at least with PayPal you can't get effed over

You have to specifically choose the "Refund Protection" (or whatever option it is) when you pay them via Venmo. It tacks a 2.5% fee automatically on top of what you pay, so you'd need to adjust how much you send accordingly.
