Have you installed these yet? I'm curious if you noticed a difference.

Oh wow, I just saw the lead time on those are 2-3 weeks in order that they manufacture them! So i'm betting you don't have them yet, especially with the RONA being out there...
I would really like to hear a review on stainless steel lines prior to dropping the cash, but maybe I'll just go with these instead since they are in-stock and RED, which I have on my car already. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...2563ecs03akt1/ |

Ah nice, the Red ones from ECS have a coated outer shell but are still stainless. I think I might order those.
Can anyone comment on stainless brake lines? |

Ah nice bleeder, I need to find mine. I had the exact same one when I had my 86 GTI. I don't see anything in the descriptions of either of the brake lines that talk about the gauge of the line.

probably the same gauge but i'm guessing the stainless sleeve makes it look thicker?

we have no idea... we have yet to hear back on anyone installing the stainless steel lines. Someone here did give good reviews on this brand of rotors and pads which they have installed on their BMW and their other car as well.

Just as a word of warning, make sure there's close to zero stress on the connection between the line and the caliper, even when turning the wheel. Some SS lines have swivel connectors there to alleviate the problem, but I'm not sure if the ECS or Goodridge ones do. My coworker did this to his F30 back in 2016, the connector completely sheared off when he was on a cloverleaf last year. Normally not an issue with rubber ones because they're a lot less stiff than the SS ones. Be safe and double check!

TY, looks like everything is coming in today. I'm going to be cleaning and painting my calipers and wheels, not sure I'll get it all done in a day.
Does anyone have any comments on their new SS lines? |

So here we go. Also pulling the calipers, sand blasting and painting, then also painting the wheels.
I am so looking forward to no more brake dust! |

Can you post a pic of how your rear lines look after you put them in? I put in my ECS stainless lines and they arent completely smooth. There are some bends but I am not sure if it will affect anything in a bad way.
