What size tires can I run on my car?.
Hello all,
So my 535i x-drive is dropped with the H&R springs and I am running the square setup of 19x8.5 all around. Tires: 245/40/19 I will like to do a wider tire setup on the car specially the rear so I was wondering what size tires can I run in the rear without touching since the car is lowered. I was thinking of running 255/35/19.

Yes on the stock 19x8.5 wheels. I will like to do a little wider in the back. The tires look a little stretch so i want them to look some what flush with the rim and the body line of the car. I am not a fan of spacers but if that is what i have to do to make the car look like that then i guess i will have to go that route.

Spacers will help with the tucked look.

There is only a 1% tolerance for xDrive so I would recommend getting the same tire size all around. Like remmib said, go with 255/40/19. That will only offset your speedometer by 1mph at 80mph. It will ride more smooth as well because your tire is a slightly thicker. I am considering doing this on my next set of tires.
