F10 Tie Rod upgrades??
Anyone know of tie rod upgrades for the F10? I got new rear tires installed last week, and they were unable to give me an alignment bc my driver's side tie rod had seized.
Rubber boot was ok, but apparently they tried several of their tried & true "methods" to loosen it with no luck, so the Indy recommended that I change it. I did some tie rod upgrades myself on my super sweet 240 years ago w/shitty tools while in college, so I'm not afraid to do it myself. However, I can't seem to find any upgrades. All I can find are OEM replacements. ECS tuning wants $192.00 per OEM tie rod, or like $40-50 for just an end, which is ridiculous. Anyone run across anything? Sidenote: Thinking about doing a 550i full brake upgrade, as my rears are getting low. Any recommended aftermarket kits? Not looking for BBK, just something bolt-on that's similar, but slightly better than the stock 550s brakes.

Just get the OEM or OE Lemforder ones. There's no need for an upgrade here.
