As an owner of a 2016 Tundra Platinum, I like what I see so far. I found the current LCI truck kind of strange in the beginning (giant grille, smallish headlights), but really like the looks of it. It's my DD and I have been absolutely thrilled with it. It's comfy, more than capable enough for my needs, well built and sounds really good with the TRD exhaust.
I know this new one will get so much flack from fanboys because it won't have a V8 anymore, but if there's one company I trust for reliability, it's Toyota. Having said that, I don't plan on jumping ship. I plan to drive this one till the wheels fall off, which might not even be possible considering there's a few with a million miles

Considering it's at 83k miles now, and I probably average 8k miles a year, the truck will probably outlast me

I guess Toyota is going for more of a comfort truck instead of work truck with the coils ala the latest RAM1500. Makes sense how with how most people use their trucks, but payload is going to suffer.

Does that mean we're getting an electric Tundra?

Quite frankly, I don't mind what I'm seeing so far. Front looks like a bigger Tacoma, while rear lights reminds me of a Telluride. Look forward to seeing the rest of the car.
