I had friends in college that went to high school with those guys, including Staley. I remembered a friend told me his friend's band came up with the name "Alice in Chains", lol. Never knew they would take off like they did. The drummer stole a chick that I was hot after at a college party we were at and I was pissed. Can't blame her though

Cobain lived near one of my best friends' home right off Lake Washington.

Not sure if this guy has been mentioned, but he does some great covers...plays everything, records/mixes in his own home studio, and throws a metal twist into everything he does...

Check out some of his other stuff...he's a high-energy and entertaining guy to watch...

Never hurts to listen to a bit of Audioslave now and then IMHO. I loved it when they used this song in the movie "Collateral" while Tom Cruise's character cruises around LA in a taxi cab.
