HELP on fuel injector matching issue
Hi guys,
I recently purchased a scanner from Amazon, it is described as specifically designed for BMWs which I think it is just a common scanner tool.... There is a function in the scanner called fuel injector matching, I got the result of 6 cylinders, but the cylinder 3's number is much lower than the other five. My question is, is it an usual thing? if it is not, what could be the cause of it? Maybe replace the fuel injector of cylinder 3? |

IMO, research your tool a little more to find out if this is the injection volume compensation factor. This is a value you PROGRAM into the ECU, not a measurement the ECU is reading. The important thing is that the values programmed match the injectors fitted.
