Left side door handle melted
I am in dire need of replacing the side door handle. Found a replacement on amazon but it seems like a pain to install. Have you had this issue? and how much did you get someone to install it for you?

Not hard, just time consuming. I'd say about 30-45 min. Plenty of videos on how to remove an f10 door panel on YouTube. Just some screws on the back of the panel and the handle comes right off

I have the same issue myself. I've considered buying the part to fix it but I've got other things on the list that need more attention. Lol

I recently purchased a replacement and installed in my driveway. You will need a few torx bits, trim tools and some patience. It took about 1 hour being super careful not to break anything (especially the thin accent lighting pieces under door trim). There are plenty of good YouTube videos if your nervous. It's a great DIY.
