Rattling from underneath/right during low acceleration?
Hello,
My 2016 535i (56k miles) has been flawless since I've owned it, even after going stage 2 (professionally installed). However, I moved from CA to TX. Instead of driving, I had my car brought over on a truck. Ever since I received the car here in TX, there is this ANNOYINGGGG rattle coming from underneath the car, slightly to the right (closer to passenger seat) during low acceleration. This is present in pretty much every gear. It will just rattle forever unless I get out of that RPM range (~2.2k-2.5k?) I HATE it. I either downshift, push down harder on the accelerator pedal, or, of course, both . Like I said the car is stage 2 so no point in taking it to the dealership. Mechanically everything seems fine. But this rattle is driving me crazyyyyy. Tips/advice? Thanks. P.S. I am living in an apartment and I don't have a garage (or tools) so I can't really get under there and look around. But even if I did, I doubt I would find anything. P.S.S. It actually might not be underneath the car, but it is definitely more to the right than it is center. It might be like the dash/firewall area? |
