N55 low boost and long crank after new plugs install
Hello everyone,
I installed a new set of plugs yesterday on my F10 N55, and after installing everything i noticed that the car took longer to start and when I drove it, it felt like it is not building any boost. Check engine light soon came on. I installed a set of ZR5TPP33 plugs, even though the plugs on the car where ZR5TPP33S and real oem said I need ZR5TPP33S. Reason why I installed the ZR5TPP33 is that I got them for $5 a plug on discount and I read online that they can be interchanged on the n55. After scanning the car I got the following 2 codes which worry me 133B04 Valvetronic system: no adjustment possible 11AC02 Fuel high pressure, plausibility during cold start 30 EX pressure too low I will try installing the old plugs to see if that will fix the issue, but I don’t think it’s plug related as the car idles fine and while driving it, it doesn’t feel like misfiring, but I may be wrong. Checked all the connectors and vacuum lines and everything was connected properly. Any ideas? Thanks |

If anyone stumbles on this in the future, the problem was the crankcase vent pipe. It’s made of plastic and with age it can crack. Mine was cracked on the rear so I only saw it after I took it off completely and inspected it.
