2011 with an N63. How is the service history looking? Read and study very carefully before even being tempted to buy.

Low miles are very suspicious. Have it inspected by an independent BMW shop. Expect to pay for the exam. Motor is known to be a problem.
Good luck. |

22k miles on a new motor, probably. Not to be pessimistic.

Thank you for your replies. Any specific area that’s a problem to focus on such as fuel pump, turbo, etc.?

Hot "Vee" style Twin Turbo with a lot of components suffering from excess wear from all the heat at the top of engine, with critical hoses and other goodies being in that general vicinity, and is prone to drinking or consuming oil, and more, please, tread carefully, you are at the right place to check these forums for threads related to the Infamous N63 Engine, its a beast of a motor, however the first generations were known to have some costly issues, timing chain failure, being the tip of the spear pricking at your wallet, I am and anyone here at your attention, are not here at all to discourage you from considering such a powerful and awesome vehicle, just learn, and educate yourself and we are here for you to elaborate. Later Updates (N63TU) are proven to be more "Reliable", however, in your case, not only you will find all the info you need here, you can search videos on the Tube, with N63 as your headline on the search bar.
