Power supply while using ISTA

I began learning how to use ISTA on my F10 a few weeks ago and was constantly getting the error that my battery was below 12.55v. I was due for a new one anyway so I bought a BMW battery from the dealership and used my AGM charger/power supply to bring it to full charge. When running ISTA, I also use a Battery Tender power supply . Even with a new battery and this charger hooked up I get the low voltage error. I've tried all of the settings on the charger. I find it odd that I would need to charge this new battery for a few hours before every ISTA run.

My battery reads between 12.1-12.3v, over 14v with the engine running.

Did I waste $135 on this AGM charger/power supply? What are you using? I need to reliably run ISTA as I do most of my own maintenance.

What are you trying to use it for? I’ve never used a power supply while doing basic functions through ISTA. I’d only worry about it if you’re going to be leaving the car ignition on for a long period of time and doing something intense like coding modules.

I'm getting constant error windows popping up in ISTA saying the voltage is below 12.55V, even with a new battery. With the power supply I'm able to code without interruptions.
