Holy Cow - That's Close!
I was washing my car and was cleaning the wheels when I noticed how close the hub of the wheel is to the front caliper In fact, the caliper even has a notch in it to allow for clearance. It seems BMW figured that people would be putting the M5 wheels on the lesser 5 Series cars. I couldn't get my phone at the right angle to get a picture of the notch, but I got these other ones showing how close the hub of the wheel is to the caliper.

Yeah those 343m's are a tight fit, but they work. Great looking wheels and being flush with the fenders is perfect.
How's the ride on the lower profile tires? |

I know, that's what I thought when I saw it. I researched all over before I bought these rims and didn't see anything about the tight clearance at the hub and brake caliper, but if I ran spacers they'd push the rim and tire past the edge of the fender.

I love the 343 wheels.
If I may ask, where did you find them? Are they OEM?

These are refurbished OEM wheels, I found them at Midwest Tire & Wheel in Michigan. They were half the price of new OEM's and included the center caps. Guaranteed to be straight and true, refinished to look new (sounds like a commercial). The only way to tell that they've been refinished is by the overspray on the back of the wheel. I was trolling the boards for weeks trying to find a set, but as soon as I ordered these a couple of sets came up with tires for a little more than what I paid for these. It never fails.

I bought the 343 rims and my car is 2014 LCI. 550i, I tried to fit the rims in my car the front seems to be not sitting well with my hub and the wheel is scrapping the calipers , wonder how did u fit it .. and what is the tyre size that u are using ? |

I had a similar scenario. 530d upgraded to big 760Li calipers with 374mm rotors front, and 345M 19" wheels. Needed a 12mm spacer in the front to clear the caliper. Could be less, but I had 12mm in hand at the moment. |

dont you think the 12mm spacers might poke the wheel out and might not looks bad ..? go for 10 mm and thats the basic hub centric avaliable in markets. 5mm and3mm are not hub centric.
