They've done three leaks test and no leaks. i had the pvc system replaced, we've double checked every line and have replaced most of them, not including we replaced both pressure converters as well. The wategate arm does have a lot of play, so when the car starts to build boost, it opens up and lets it all go. We even disconnected the JB4 reinstalled the Mafs and tried it again some results from bank 1 and bank 2. But Ive purchased two of the MGT2256S turbos and looking for an upgraded wastegate while I am at it
As well, since i am replacing both turbos what other pieces should I replace as well gaskets, seals and such? Last edited by headache876; 01-19-2024 at 10:06 AM.. |

check the bypasses, when the membrane breaks, there is no air pressure, the car crashes. The original membrane was rubber, I replaced it with plastic, no problems for 3 years

Check even better replace oil feed and return lines while turbos are out. Same for coolant lines. Bimmerworld sells a turbo replacement kit with all new hoses and hardware (not turbos themselves)

I just bought the kit from ECS for both turbos. I’m hoping this fixes the no boost issue which it should. Thinking of doing upgraded wastegates since they’ll be out
