Most affordable NBT EVO ID6 upgrade?
I'll admit I screwed up by buying a Chinese knockoff CarPlay unit off eBay, but that was years ago when NBT EVO upgrades were going for $1200+. I was looking into BMW it again and they're $1200-$2000 for an 11 year old car. I realize I'm also paying for remote coding in many cases, but still think the price should be going down at some point. Are there more affordable options ($700-$800ish) now that there's less demand? Only looking for the upgraded head unit, not a touchscreen or new iDrive controller.

You'll need a new screen as the old one will not work.
Might as well throw an i-drive controller and complete the retrofit. Same boat here. And my oem radio just died, it works 1 out of 20 times I turn on the car. other ones it jumps in german and limited options. I'm trying to pull it off from cic to evo6 the cheapest way possible. 34 usd for enet cable and adapter 70 usd for zgw-02 high plus (this is where I'm at) then code zgw to work with my car and after source the evo6 and touchscreen under 1,000usd and code it Quote:
